Dr. Jay Poole received new funding from Cone Health Foundation for the project “Harm Reduction Clinics.” Professor Fran Pearson and Dr. Kenneth Gruber and Dr. Kenneth Sills are co-principal investigators on the project.
Professor Fran Pearson received new funding from Cone Health Foundation for the project “Congregational Social Work Education Initiative (CSWEI 2018-2019).” Dr. Jay Poole is co-principal investigator on the project.
Dr. Sharon Parker is featured in the Division of Research and Economic Development 2018 Annual Report at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University on pgs 30-31 regarding her community service and research.
This month, University Advancement featured stories of scholarships established in memory of loved ones. The Jennifer Ann McLamb Whitaker Graduate Scholarship in the Joint Master of Social Work Program, in UNCG’s School of Health and Human Sciences was created by Rita Robbins, to preserve her daughter’s signature legacy of “life, love and light.”
The JMSW Conference scheduled for Friday, September 14th has been postponed in anticipation of severe weather conditions from Hurricane Florence. The conference has been rescheduled for Friday, October 5th, 9am-4pm, in the Virginia Dare Room. Please stay safe!
