What do you like about your field placement?
My field placement is not in a “traditional” placement of social workers, so I enjoy that aspect of my field placement.
What have you learned being a part of this field placement?
I’m with the SWELL Project and having social workers in libraries makes a big impact for people that would not typically have access to social workers.
What do you like about the connections between fieldwork and coursework?
Making community connections and partners are vital!!
I’m able to see how policy impacts my clients and the world around us.
What else would you like prospective students to know about our program?
Our program is unique, and the days will be long but time will go by quickly. We have very knowledgeable professors and faculty that are willing to make sure you achieve your goals.
