ABOUT THE M.S.W. PROGRAM
The Joint Masters of Social Work Program (M.S.W.) curriculum prepares students for multicultural clinical practice. This innovative program flows from a multicultural history and models multicultural collaboration between the NCA&T and UNCG.
CURRICULUM AND COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
The Joint M.S.W. Program emphasizes multicultural clinical practice, valuing the culture, history, and identities of all people, particularly those who are marginalized or traumatized. It addresses social, economic, and health inequalities, aiming to build culturally sensitive therapeutic relationships that promote resilience.

The Joint Programs in Social Work (JPSW) are graduate programs offered by NCA&T and UNCG.

MASTER’S LICENSURE IN SCHOOL SOCIAL WORK
Students in the Joint M.S.W. Program can apply for a Master’s License in School Social Work during their first year. This field offers rewarding work with students and families across K-12 levels, focusing on prevention and early intervention.

HRSA FUNDING
We are proud to offer two Health Resources Administration Services (HRSA).
APPLY
Once accepted into the Joint M.S.W. Program, students is randomly assigned to one university as their “home” campus for tuition, fees, registration, financial aid, and access to fee-based services, including student health services.
FORMS
