We are proud to offer two Health Resources Administration Services (HRSA).

The  Integrated Behavioral Health & Racial Equity Scholars Program (IBHRES) and Opioid Workforce Expansion Program (OWEP) stipends are for M.S.W. students:

The purpose of the IBHRES is to assist social work students in the Joint Programs in Social Work with stipend support and experiential training that focuses on team-based models of care in integrated and interdisciplinary behavioral and primary care settings.

With the use of Intersectionality Theory as a framework, the didactic and experiential training modules and activities will infuse a racial equity lens for serving diverse communities in high need and high demand areas in order to ensure culturally appropriate care for racial and ethnic minority populations.

HRSA OWEP Application – Prospective Advanced Standing

The OWEP Scholars Program is designed to foster an integrated and/or interprofessional approach to training through academic and community partnerships for increasing the number of professionals trained to transform integrated behavioral health and primary care teams as well as to effectively prevent and treat OUD and other SUDs in community-based practices.
